How to play

The goal
Your character is made of ten pieces. Every correct answer adds one. Get all ten and you see the whole thing.
A turn, step by step
Press Spin the wheel. Nothing moves until you do.
The wheel slows down and lands on a topic. Its name appears underneath.
A question appears below the wheel with four answers. Tap one.
Right answer: a piece appears. Wrong answer: you lose a piece, and the explanation shows you how it works.
Press Spin again for the next one. Skip this one moves on without answering.
Setting up the wheel
Who are you building β Knight, Queen, Jester or Dragon. Switching keeps your progress.
What should the wheel ask β six separate toggles: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, comparing, and decimals & percents. The wheel redraws with whatever is left on.
Highest bottom number β the largest denominator allowed, 3 to 20. Set it to 6 and you will never see a twelfth. Some topics need room to work and quietly drop off the wheel if the number is too low.
Answers should be β under 1 keeps every answer a proper fraction, over 1 makes every answer cross a whole (mixed numbers, improper fractions), a mix flips a coin each time.
Bottom numbers β All the same gives every fraction in a question the same denominator, so comparing is just comparing the tops. Four topics are about changing the bottom number (Match It, Simplest Form, Decimal, Percent), so they step off the wheel while this is on. Mixed puts them back.
Show numbers as β fractions only, or fractions and percents mixed together.
What the topics mean
ADD / TAKE AWAY β same bottom number, add or subtract the tops. Mixed numbers show up too.
ADD STORY / TAKE STORY β the same maths as a word problem.
TIMES β a whole number times a fraction.
MATCH β find the equal fraction by multiplying top and bottom.
SHARE β a fraction of a group, like 3/4 of 20 marbles.
SIMPLE β write a fraction in simplest form.
GREATER THAN / LESS THAN β pick the biggest or the smallest of four.
> or < β choose the sign that makes the statement true.
NUMBER LINE β decide if a fraction is above or below a landmark, or find which marked point it is.
DECIMAL / PERCENT β match a fraction to its decimal or percent.
